The House on the Cliff - Franklin W. Dixon Clearly one of the best Hardy Boys books ever written. It was great (albeit terribly unbelievable) to see the great Fenton Hardy in such a bind, only to have the Hardy boys themselves come to the rescue. This book also explains a few tricks you can use if you ever get tied up by a(n) (admittedly incompetent) gang of criminals.
